We live just across the courtyard from The Carriage House and are available should you need any help. We enjoy hosting and have been lucky enough to have some lovely guests from all over the world. We have a number of other properties, all within the same courtyard, and can sleep 24 guests or 36 guests in total if using sofa beds.

Apartment One has four bedrooms and a sofa bed in the sitting room so can sleep ten guests. The Carriage House is a beautifully restored barn set in the pretty village of Bilbrough. The village is just off the A64 and is only four miles from York. We provide tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, salt, pepper and tin foil in all the apartments. All the kitchens are well stocked with pots and pans. Towels are provided. We also provide fresh milk, a loaf of bread, eggs, a selection of cereals, jam and butter - all are free of charge to guests. Please note that this service cannot always be provided for last-minute (same day) bookings. There is outside seating area for summer evenings. There is a separate space, our Relaxation And Wellness Space, which is available for parties, events, retreats or just enjoying nature. This is the area with the decking and the hot tub and private yoga studio. Please note this space is not included in the price of your stay. Prices and availability on request. The village is surrounded by stunning countryside and there are a number of public footpaths for those who enjoy walking. There is an enclosed children's playground in the village. York is only four miles away and there is a very good Park & Ride service from Askham Bar. Leeds and Harrogate are also very easy to get to by car or public transport.
