The village of Cresswell sits about four miles to north of Ashington on the North Sea Coast. Cresswell Beach is considered one of the best on the Northumberland coast, offering a largely unspoilt stretch which rarely gets busy. The village offers some basic amenities including a café, a popular ice cream shop and Pele Tower, a historical landmark.
