Avalon Retreat is offering vegetarian self catering shared accommodation and is conveniently located within 2 minutes walking distance of Glastonbury High Street. Here you will find shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and local sites of interest including: Glastonbury Abbey, the Chalice Well and Glastonbury Tor. No alcohol is permitted to be consumed on the premises. For everyone's benefit it is necessary that we protect the health of other guests and staff regarding Medical Conditions (Infectious or Contagious or Otherwise). If you or any member of your party has or had any medical condition (whether it is infectious or contagious or otherwise) that may require any type of medication, we reserve the right to not accept your booking or we may cancel your booking prior to your arrival or we may ask you to leave the accommodation if you have already checked in. If you have any questions please contact us before making your booking.
Originally from France, I live in England. I love travel. I am bilingual and like meeting people from different countries. My home has the added benefit of a hidden courtyard, shared with a few of my neighbours in the other town houses nearby. Glastonbury is Avalon. The legends of King Arthur and the Holy Grail still resonate within the mists of Avalon and the magical landscape around Glastonbury Tor. With its sacred hills and spring waters, Glastonbury is one of Britain’s most important sacred sites. Known as the Heart Chakra of the planet, it is a vortex where powerful transforming energies amplify the healing experiences of each individual.
Glastonbury Abbey and its peaceful grounds also attract many visitors, being a place of pilgrimage for generations. In the region we also find the other megalithic sacred sites of Stonehenge, Avebury and Stanton Drew, around which are found amazing crop circles in Spring and Summer.
