I'm a friendly host, originally from London, some might say I talk too much! I don't take things too seriously ... I find humour in most things. I love collecting things, all old. I have a lovely family - all things considered and of course we have Dora the dog who loves a walk on the beach! I'm happy to help with advice about the area, recommend restaurants/pubs etc. I will give lifts where I can, organise taxis.

Avon Manor is a well established, friendly, warm guest situated in a very quiet road just off the seafront. We are within walking distance to two pub/restaurants and about half a mile from the town centre at Lee-on-the-Solent. All rooms are en suite, we have free parking and free wifi throughout. We provide a takeaway breakfast, freshly cooked, which you are welcome to eat in your room.

We are in a quiet part of Lee-on-the-Solent, near the seafront. Lee is a lovely friendly town, with shops, pubs and restaurants, some with sea views. Alver Valley Country Park is a few minutes away. Portsmouth and Southampton are both within easy reach by road and the Isle of Wight is a short trip away from either by ferry, fastcat, hovercraft or hydrafoil! We have many Naval establishments nearby and we are only a short drive from Gosport, with it's long military history - Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower, Submarine Museum and where you can take a short trip on the foot passenger ferry over to Portsmouth, to visit the Historical Dockyard and Gunwharf Quays, to name but a few.
