There is a housekeeper nearby if you should have any queries, but otherwise you have complete privacy.

Authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. In beautiful countryside on the River Tweed. Ideal for exploring the Scottish Borders. Biking at Glentress 5 minutes; Edinburgh 45 minutes; Peebles nearby. Heavenly walks.

The rolling hills and romantic valleys of Peebleshire are some of the loveliest in the land. World class Glentress is nearby for keen mountain bikers and Peebles is full of charm, with an award winning chocolatier and plenty of interesting shops.
It is essential to have your own transport, be it car or bike. Edinburgh airport and train station are about 50 minutes drive. Peebles is 4 miles away.
