There are two well equipped custom built shepherd's hut set in a paddock with views over the surrounding countryside. Each shepherd's hut sleeps 4 and is equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom, living space and a balcony which has ample space for alfresco dining. The kitchenette comprises of a gas hob, oven and grill, a small fridge, cupboard space, crockery, saucepans and cooking utensils. There is a day sofa which pulls out to make a double bed, a pipe cot (similar to a hammock and commonly used in boats). The table and bench area folds up to make a single bed.
Outside below the deck is an Indian Fire bowl which is great for barbecues and toasting marshmallows whilst star gazing. The peaceful setting is perfect for unwinding, getting back to nature and soothing the soul. There is an above ground swimming pool (12 x 24ft) which guests are welcome to use at their own risk. The pool is unheated.
Andy is a carpenter by trade and built the high quality bespoke shepherd's huts during lockdown. Paula has a background in soft furnishings and interior design. Paula and Andy have 6 chickens which will provide your eggs and 3 goats. We are passionate about local produce; we have a polytunnel where we grow tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, chilli's, melons and salad items; we also have a large veg patch.

Away from the coast there are plenty of places of interest to visit, Stourhead House and Gardens; Longleat; The Newt in Somerset (renowned restaurant and gardens); the Hauser & Wirth Garden and Art Gallery at Bruton, Sherborne Abbey and various stately homes, such as Athelhampton House; Kingston Lacy and Forde Abbey to name but a few.
