Perched on a incline, this property boasts a delightful seating area in the garden via the French doors, and is a truly special place to unwind with family and friends whilst spending time exploring the North York Moors.

Located within the beautiful North York Moors is the charming village of Ampleforth. Steeped in history, Ampleforth is home to its own Abbey, St Albans sports centre with swimming pool as well as a village shop dating back to 1856, also home to Hearts of Ampleforth, the villages very own family run tearoom serving a wide range of delicious homemade food, cakes and treats. Just 12 minutes away is the popular small market town of Helmsley where you can visit the Medieval Castle or the walled garden with its superb café; the pastries are delicious! There are many individual shops, an Arts Centre and the National Birds of Prey Centre. The Starr Inn at Harome is owned by Andrew Pern of Michelin star fame and is well worth a visit. Pickering a 35 minute drive away and makes for a great day out with its Castle and famous North York Moors Railway; book an afternoon tea on board and marvel at the stunning scenery whist chugging your way from Pickering to Whitby along the coast. Whitby is an historic fishing town with its Cistercian monastery, Whitby and its Abbey is famed for its association with Bram Stoker, who took his inspiration for the Dracula books from here; and Captain James Cook who sailed from Whitby on the Endeavour to discover Australia. The market town Malton holds monthly food fairs and is Yorkshire's capital of food. Renowned for Horse racing, Malton and the surrounding area have been hosting race meets as far back as the 1600s. Take a trip to Flamingo Land for the ride of your life and marvel at the animals. The picturesque village of Thixendale a charming place to visit and where leading wildlife artist Robert E Fuller has his gallery. You are also only 40 minutes from the historic, walled city of York with The Shambles, York Minster, National Railway Museum, endless shops and so much to explore in this beautiful city.
