Our beautiful Cornish retreat, really is our perfect little home. Nestled in, on Bodmin moor and within 30 mins driving, you can be at some of the best beaches for surfing ( Polzeath and Trebarwith Strand) and relaxing ( Daymer bay and Rock) with epic coastline everywhere. (Piet Isaac and Port Gaverne ) Inside the cottage, I’ve furnished it as our home. Comfort, quality design and functionality are at the root of everything in the cottage. From our Arne Jacobsen drop leaf table to our writing/work desk next to a William Morris window seat. Comfort and quality are there. Making use of the cosy space. The bedrooms are luxurious, you have to walk through 1 to get to the other, buts it’s designed for this, and never bothered anyone. But needs mentioning. We quality pillows with 400 count Egyptian cotton bed linen. The mattresses are quality. The master bedroom has a king size bespoke Hypnos mattress. After a long day in the surf or walking or cycling the camel trail. Coming home to a fire in our wood burner, really is special. Turn on the bankers lamp with the fire, for a wonderful light. The fire place is ancient :) I love to cook, so the kitchen is well equipped, we have a Le Creuset frying pan and casserole dishes. The Bellina farm house convection oven is superb. The tap water heeds a special mention. It’s sooo good. Better than bottled mineral water. We have a lovely garden, with seating and bbq. It’s v private which is lovely. It’s situated down some steps in the car port. We just love the cottages location. Take a 10 min stroll out of the village, and you’ll be on the moor, amongst highland cows and wild ponies. Or visit, the near by stone circles and ancient Tors. It’s our spiritual home 💫

I’m a single dad of 2 beauties, Woody (12) and Aggie (10). We’re based in London, but are always trying to get back to our Cornwall home. We love to surf and explore the coast line. We also enjoy walking and quiet village life.

St Breward is one the highest villages in Cornwall. On a clear day, you can see the sea from the top of the garden. It has a lovely pub, ‘ The Old Inn’ and a thriving congregation for Sunday service in the village church. It’s right on Bodmin moor, so rugged wildness is all around. 2 Shire horses are often cruising around the village eating grass :) The wildlife on the moor is fantastic, wild ponies, majestic Highland cows and various birds of prey are everywhere. The neighbouring villages of St Tudy and St Kew both have our favourite goody pubs. The St Kew inn( 15th century monastery) And the St Tudy inn has a Michelin roseate.
