The house was refurbished in 2021 from top to bottom, with two new bathrooms & WC, kitchen cabinets, carpets, flooring, blinds and high quality furniture throughout. There are 2 king-size bedrooms, one en-suite, the other next to the main bathroom and 2 single beds in the third bedroom on the top floor plus a WC downstairs. The fully stocked kitchen has a table and chairs for six in the dining area, and a lovely sun-trap patio garden through the French doors outside. The living room is prettily arranged with an electric fire, new Samsung Frame TV with Netflix, BT fibre broadband, magazines & board games to help keep you entertained!
I always feel that I can imagine a place is just for me if I can let myself in using a key, which is why I don't usually turn up to meet guests when they arrive, but if you do want to meet me please just say! Otherwise I won't interrupt your stay, but I will be on hand should you need advice or help, I am only a text message away. My family and I also live in the village and feel so lucky that Goring is our home. Everyone who lives here jokes that once you arrive, you never want to leave!
Goring on Thames is uniquely placed in two Areas of Outstanding National Beauty, so it is the ideal destination for a holiday or long weekend. Shops, pubs, trains to Oxford and London and the River Thames are all on its doorstep. If you enjoy fabulous amenities amidst beautiful scenery, this is the perfect country escape.
