Hi, I host the cottage with my husband Matt. We are local farmers with mostly arable land, a flock of commercial sheep and a pedigree herd of Aberdeen Angus. We have a little boy, who was born at the end of 2022 We will be available to guests on request - you can call us if you have any questions or need anything extra! Check in is through the key safe outside, which we will send you your individual code upon booking.
Tunstall is a small rural village on the outskirts of Catterick Garrison, with excellent accessibility to the Garrison, the historic town of Richmond and the dales: Wensleydale and Swaledale. Slightly further afield are the towns of Bedale, Northallerton and Barnard Castle; whilst Harrogate, York and Newcastle are a mere 40minute drive away. An hour away and you are in the Lake District. There is one parking space in front of the house, but there is usually space for one other car on the opposite side of the lane, next to the stream. Please do not block the lane at anytime as there are a number of houses further down the lane that require access. There is a main road running past the house but this is generally quiet without much heavy traffic.
