The first thing that guests say when they first walk into Betty is ‘WOW!’ That is the reaction we want!!! From the outside, Betty looks like an old horsebox, we have left her in her original condition – it makes the step inside even more dramatic! Babs (the bathroom!) sits next to Betty and is a converted trailer with a walk-in shower, basin and very fancy compost loo. These old girls have been repurposed using recycled and upcycled items, most sourced from the local area. The build was completely organic, but optimising space and comfort was always top of the list! Above the cab is a king size bed with a luxurious Simba mattress, a bespoke headboard made from a local piece of oak, with beautiful blue resin accents. Above is a sky light, so you can watch our amazing skies whilst still being toasty and warm. The living space has 2 comfortable sofas, which quickly convert into 2 single beds simply by taking off the throw and the duvet cover out of the pillowcase, all done in 30 seconds! The kitchen was built around a reclaimed sideboard, with a vintage jam pan for the sink. The work surface is a combination of reclaimed fencing rails, and a piece of oak from the same tree as the headboard. There is an induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster, along with everything you need to prepare and eat meals. If the weather is chilly, there is a dining table that seats 4, with the chairs neatly slotted in underneath when not in use. But the best place to eat is outside - you have your own gas BBQ, seating and firepit. Underfloor heating makes sure the temperature is to your liking. Betty is totally enclosed with the most spectacular views across the Aeron Valley - perfect for dogs and children. We are in a dark skies area, so at night you need to sit back and look up, it is truly spectacular. Just 2 miles from Aberaeron and the stunning coastline, dog friendly beaches and lots to do for everyone - dolphin spotting is a must!

If you want to get away from it all, and listen to nothing but birdsong and the sound of the horses happily munching in the neighbouring field, then this is for you! The views over the valley are truly breath taking, and you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet we are only 2 miles from the picturesque harbour town of Aberaeron, and of course our stunning coastline! So you can have the best of both worlds - peace and tranquility, but close to amenities! Public transport does not pass our entrance, the nearest bus stop is just over half a mile away. However, if you are coming by train/bus then please let us know and we can collect you with your luggage! A car/motorcycle is the easiest way to be able to explore, but not necessary! Super cycling too if that is your passion!
