4 Black Bull Barn is a cosy self catering cottage/apartment and is located in the centre of Kirkby Stephen close to all amenities with private parking and free wifi. Accommodation comprises an open plan lounge with kitchen/diner with Smart TV, the kitchen is equiped with oven and hob, washer, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster there is also an iron and ironing board. The bedroom has a double bed with ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, basin and WC. Full central heating. Your pets are very welcome to stay. Many of our guests return time and time again.

Kirkby Stephen is a historic Market town in the beautiful Eden Valley. On the famous Alfred Wainwright Coast to Coast walk it is very popular with walkers and cyclists and has four nature reserves within a five mile radius. There are also many short accessible walks around the town and river Eden. The most scenic railway in England "The Settle to Carlisle line" passes through the town making it an ideal base to explore the area. The former Kirkby Stephen East station has undergone restoration and has been developed as a heritage centre representing a working railway if the 1950's it's open weekends with free admission. There are plenty of places to eat including pubs, cafes, takeaways together with picnic areas around the riverside and Franks Bridge just a short stroll from the market square. A walk round the town reveals individual shops, galleries craft and antique shops, outdoor specialist shops and delicatessen. Kirkby Stephen is Cumbria's hidden gem.
