Enjoy a truly warm welcome at this interesting cottage adjoining the owner's C17 farmhouse, with wonderful views across the Menai Strait to Caernarfon and Snowdonia. Situated in a rural location just outside the village of Brynsiencyn, 5 miles to Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, 7 miles to Newborough beach and 13 miles to Caernarfon. Blochdy is full of character and mostly single storey with a few steps inside. The open-plan living/dining room and kitchen has been renovated with charm, using local reclaimed materials, with a woodburning stove in the fireplace and TV/DVD/Freeview/CD and WiFi. The well-equipped, handmade kitchen has a dishwasher and freezer, (guests also have access to a shared washing machine and tumble dryer). There are two pretty bedrooms, a double and a twin, a contemporary shower room and a raised 'crog lofft', accessed via a steep ladder leading up from the living area, with a single bed. Oil central heating. A delightful conservatory leads out to the large mature garden/patio area with seating, a barbecue and outdoor games.

This is an excellent location for exploring Anglesey. The varied coastline has some great walking along the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, world class beaches, pretty coastal villages and sites of great historical interest. The vast Llanddwyn beach and Newborough Forest, with its cycling and walking trails, is a short drive away, as is the popular Anglesey Sea Zoo and the National Trust's Plas Newydd. The Snowdonia National Park is about 12 miles away with its picturesque lakes and mountains and castles.
