Blueberry Cottage is a pretty single-storey, stone dwelling set in the village of Akeld, Northumberland. Home to three bedrooms made up of a double, a twin and a bunk room, this property can sleep up to six guests. The bedrooms are served by a bathroom and a shower room, and the property is then complete with a kitchen and a living/dining room. Bed linen and towels included in rent. Outside there is off-road parking available for guests. Blueberry Cottage is a wonderful choice for a family adventure in Northumberland National Park. Known locally as 'The Gateway to The Cheviots', Wooler has a selection of hotels and eating places and offers a magnificent location for exploring the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is just a short drive away from the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Gardens, and the well preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Chillingham Castle with its ancient herd of wild white cattle and Coldstream, just over the Scottish border, are also a short drive away.
