Although there's no outdoor space, there are plenty of walks for you within minutes of the apartment and the ascent up Gummers How will reward you with exceptional panoramic vistas across Lake Windermere and the fells. Walk out of the door of Bonnie's Apartment and within minutes you're in the heart of the lively Bowness on Windermere and just 500 yards from Lake Windermere itself. .Walk out of the door of Bonnie's Apartment and within minutes you're in the heart of the lively village of Bowness with its shops, pubs and restaurants. Built around a lovely bay, the cobbled streets are packed with attractions including a theatre, while golf and Beatrix Potter World are on the doorstep. Cross the lake on one of the famous Windermere steamers and enjoy a waterside walk to breath-taking Wray Castle. Apart from the huge range of walking and cycling trails virtually on your doorstep, Bowness On Windermere is extremely well connected for public transport so you can leave the car at home and explore by bus and train. There's so much for you to do around the shores of Windermere including Go Ape and the Aquarium of the Lakes, or take a day trip north over the scenic Kirkstone Pass to explore Keswick and the North Lakes, with a trip to the Kong indoor adventure centre. Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is less than two miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away.
