When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via email with all the necessary information to check in at your leisure. Bonny Bay is a characterful upper conversion within the former village bakery in Lower Largo, with its own main door entrance and lovely sea views from the upper front windows. Set just seconds from the long sandy beach, it’s a brilliant base for couples, friends or a small family who want to roll out of the door and straight onto the shore, with coastal walks, watersports and excellent golf courses all within easy reach. Wi-Fi is included and the apartment is pet friendly, so four-legged guests can enjoy the seaside too. At ground level, a private entrance at the rear leads into a reception hall with a handy cupboard for golf clubs and beach gear, plus a staircase up to the main accommodation. The bright lounge feels spacious and welcoming, with a corner bay and side windows, comfortable sofa and chairs, coordinated soft furnishings and a TV with Freeview. Next door, the separate dining room offers a generous table with six chairs and a matching sideboard – ideal for relaxed dinners or board games after a day on the sand. The modern L-shaped kitchen is well equipped for simple self-catering, with electric hob, oven/grill, fridge, upright freezer and microwave. Sleeping up to four, Bonny Bay has a spacious master bedroom with original shutters, king-size bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, drawer storage and a rocking chair, plus a bright twin bedroom with two single beds and drawer storage. A contemporary shower room with corner enclosure (one step up), vanity basin and WC completes the layout. Guests can also enjoy a shared garden area, and there is on-street public parking nearby. From here you’re perfectly placed to explore Lower Largo’s beach, the Fife Coastal Path, nearby East Neuk villages and St Andrews just along the coast.

Lower Largo is a charming coastal village in Fife, known for its long sandy beach, peaceful harbour, and maritime history as the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk, the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe. Visitors can enjoy the unique seaside sauna along the Temple at the start of the old railway line, perfect for a relaxing coastal experience. With sweeping sea views and a relaxed atmosphere, the village is ideal for enjoying the shoreline and surrounding scenery. At the centre of village life is The Crusoe, a harbour-side hotel and bar ideal for food, drinks and sunsets, while a short stroll inland brings you to The Railway Bar, a friendly local pub that adds to the village’s warm community feel. Golf enthusiasts are well catered for, with the classic Lundin Links Golf Course just a few minutes away, Leven Thistle nearby, and Dunbarnie Golf Course around a 10-minute drive from the village.
