Welcome to Bosun's - your idyllic coastal retreat! Our newly converted annex is modern, bright and comfortable with an unrivalled location for the ultimate seaside escape. All at ground level and fully self-contained; Bosun's layout is both practical and accessible. There's even off road parking for your car and space to dry your beach gear outside. It's nestled just a stones throw from the pristine sands of Crooklets beach where you can enjoy board sports or simply relax and take in the scenery. We finished converting Bosun's this spring into self-catering accomodation. It is set well back from the residential road and the driveway provides parking for one car. It has a large open plan living-kitchen area with a breakfast bar and a south-facing picture window. There's ample space to relax on the comfortable sofa or Skandi designer chair. A coffee table/chest contains board games, books and an information folder. There's wi-fi access and flat screen T.V. The main entrance has practical coat hooks and a shoe storage unit. Just off the entrance you'll find the bedroom and separate showeroom. The bedroom comprises: a King size bed; hybrid mattress; modern bedlinen, bedside chests, clothes rack and under bed wicker storage boxes. Integral USB charging sockets are next to the bed. A sliding door gives access to the outside terrace, storage & drying area with bistro folding table and chairs for a relaxed sundowner. The shower room offers a large, walk in glass enclosure; w.c; vanity unit; heated towel rail and large backlit anti-misting mirror. Bosun's guests will be able to park right outside the annex for the duration of their stay. This not only makes unpacking and packing easy but avoids the need for using on road parking or local car parks which get busy during the summer. Access to Bosun's is via the main door (situated to the right of the annex). A key safe is provided when required.

It's great living in Cornwall; the scenery, historic places and natural beauty is something we love sharing with our friends, family and guests. As we live in the main house we are normally around and about to help with any queries. We aim to be home to welcome you personally and to give you the key when you arrive. If this is not possible, we will leave the key in the key safe and give you the code. Our mobile number will be in the information file should you need to contact us during your stay. We have always enjoyed entertaining and our home has a relaxed and informal atmosphere where our grown-up children; friends and family enjoy visiting. Our friendly, young black Labrador 'Casear' likes lollocking around in the garden; chasing his tail and eating!

Bosun's is situated off a mature, quiet, residential road and just a 6 minute walk to our nearest beach 'Crooklets'. Water sport activities, where you can swim ,surf, paddle-board or just relax on the sand. There are specialist companies who supply equipment and teach or available to take you on activities such as coasteering or abseiling. The South West Coast path is easily accessible as it passes by Crooklets. It is popular with walkers and campers as there are numerous campsites along the way. Explore the charming nearby town with it's cafe's and picturesque harbour - all within 10 minutes walking distance. For everyday shopping and groceries, you'll find local supermarkets including Sainsbury's and the Co-Op together with a superb range of dining experiences from bistros, restaurants and take-aways. There are plenty of independent stores offering locally made food and drink - not to forget pasties and clotted cream to take home.
