Bow Lake is an equestrian centre set in 50-acres of grass and woodland. Our 1-bedroom annex is situated in a unique location in the eaves above our stables with beautiful views over the yard and woodland beyond. It has been recently renovated with a separate entrance and parking. The annex consists of a bedroom with a kingsize bed, separate hallway with work area and bathroom. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Smart TV and wifi access. To note there is no access to kitchen or laundry facilities. Breakfast and evenings meals can be arranged on request. Advance notice is requested. The accommodation is on a working yard that starts early and situated in the eaves above our stables. This is a semi-rural tranquil location. You may hear noises during your stay, that is perfectly normal and will just be the horses moving around or being restless in the morning for their breakfast.

It goes without saying that running a yard means David is passionate about horses. We are both into travelling, good food and socialising. We are friendly hosts who want to make sure guests have an enjoyable stay. We live in an adjoining apartment to the annex so always around if anyone wants a tour of the yard or directions for a walk across our adjoining field and woodland.

Located on an equestrian centre outside the village of Colden Common with good road and rail links. The New Forest and the historic city of Winchester are all in easy reach. The New Forest, South Down National Park and the coast are easily accessible as well. There are a range of different places to eat around us depending on what you fancy. The Fishers Pond Pub is a 10-minute walk away with views over the lake. The Bugle in Twyford is a short drive with a great reputation and the market town of Bishops Waltham is just up the road. Winchester also has a great selection of places to eat and drink.
