Bracken Lodge is a romantic single-storey cottage set in the village of Akeld near Wooler, Northumberland. Hosting one king-size bedroom served by a bathroom, this property can sleep up to two guests. Bed linen and towels included in rent. The cottage is complete with a kitchen and a living/dining room. Outside there is ample off-road parking for guests. Dogs welcome. Bracken Lodge is a charming base from which to tour the magnificent green landscapes of the Northumberland Countryside. PLEASE NOTE: The on-site pool and sauna facilities are currently undergoing refurbishment and are scheduled to re-open in February 2026, until then, these amenities will not be available - The photo shown reflects the previous setup and is provided for illustrative purposes only. In the meantime, guests can enjoy the recently opened on-site pub, The Cheviot Goat, which offers a cosy and welcoming atmosphere.
