Situated in Bridport, just 5 minutes’ drive from the coast, we offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Weymouth can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Rooms at The Bridge House are timeless and classic, furnished and retain original features like old, wooden beams. Other facilities include a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and free toiletries. There is The Basement Bar open Mon - Sat serving drinks, Pizzas and Burgers. The Potting Shed Bar & Kitchen is open during the summer months. Lyme Regis Golf Club is a 15-minute drive from the building, and Dorchester can be reached in less than 25 minutes by car. Yeovil is 40 minutes’ drive away.

The Bridge House is an independently owned B&B, Grade 2 listed Georgian Town House built in 1768 full of character and quirky charm and running as a B&B. Sitting on the river Asker offering beautiful river walks yet only a 2 minute walk into town with its independent shops, restaurants, bars & vintage Quarter selling everything vintage from furniture to clothes. Market days are Wednesdays & Saturdays. The nearest beach at West Bay is 1.8 miles away and is easily reached by car or cycling/walking along the cycle path. Bridport is an ideal base for exploring the Jurassic coast and is an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All 10 guest rooms are individually styled and have en-suite facilities and free Wi-Fi. The guest lounge area offers a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a drink and read a book on a chilly day. Our private walled garden with heaters, offers the perfect spot for warmer days and evenings. The Potting Shed Bar and Kitchen serves food and drink throughout the summer, and The Basement Bar, serving food & drinks is a great place to meet friends during the cooler months. All of our wines are available by the bottle or glass. There are also some great restaurants within the town, within a short walking distance, or by short car journey, we are happy to recommend our favourites. Private car parking when available.

Bridport is a coastal market town of Saxon origin and was the main rope and net producing town in the Country, an industry that is still very much alive today. Independents shops, restaurants and bars with market days on Wednesday and Saturday selling vintage goods, food, local arts & crafts. With beautiful beaches, Rolling countryside, and the Jurassic coast to explore in this area of outstanding natural beauty. There really is something for everyone
