The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. The hotel sits in its own mature grounds, with beautiful views overlooking the River Rothay.
The hotel has an Art Deco design and is set in an elegant Edwardian house with some period features. All bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms complimented with luxury Bath House toiletries. Most rooms also offer stunning views of the river Rothay or the scenic fells.

Many mountain and lakeshore walking routes are available directly from the hotel. These include Helvellyn, Fairfield Horseshoe, Langdale Pikes, and low level routes beside Rydal Water and Grasmere Lake.
Bridge House Hotel & Silver Howe View Cottage is less than 5 miles from Lake Windermere and around 13 miles from Keswick. Ambleside’s attractions include the Armitt Museum and 17th-century Bridge House.
