Our host, Jim Kirk has been providing bed and breakfast to guest for over 20 years and still enjoy introducing guest to the delights of Edinburgh, a World Heritage City.

Property information

BrigO'Doon is a lovely Scottish Bed&Breakfast/Guest House... and yes we serve a traditional cooked Scottish breakfast everyday. Ideally and centrally located within 2 miles of Edinburgh Castle, Princess Street, The Royal Mile as well as the shoreline and beaches. Edinburgh Airport is a quick and easy 8.7 miles away. All rooms have a private bathroom, flat screen TV, tea and coffee service as well as free WiFi. There is plenty of parking and public transportation is just steps away. BrigO'Doon Guest House has been family owned and operated for decades. We look forward to welcoming you.

Neighbourhood information

Parking and transport are great here, free unrestricted off street public parking is directly across the street from us. There are four bus lines, that take you into the City and surrounding attractions. BrigO'Doon is one of the Majestic Tour bus stops on the way to Ocean Terminal. As a central location you can walk to Princes Street or the Royal Yacht in about 25min.
