Dating back to the 13th century, Buckland Manor is set in immaculate gardens, featuring croquet lawns and tennis courts. Sumptuous bedrooms have bathrobes, fresh apples and toiletries. Some of the bedrooms at Buckland Manor have four-poster beds or antique furnishings. The award-winning restaurant offers fine dining and a modern British menu. Menus feature fresh local produce from the neighbouring Vale of Evesham, affectionately known as the market garden of England. Fresh herbs are grown in the Manor’s own grounds and, as you would expect in a house of this heritage, there is a magnificent wine cellar. Buckland Manor overlooks the Cotswolds village of Buckland and is a 25-minute drive from the M5 Motorway. Ashchurch for Tewkesbury Rail Station is less than 12 miles away.

Buckland Manor is one of the finest manor houses in the Cotswolds, with a heritage dating back to the 13th century. The ten acres of gardens roll into the surrounding countryside and the tiny village of Buckland, Nr Broadway. Privately owned by Andrew and Christina Brownsword, Buckland Manor is the quintessential country house hotel. Buckland Manor truly does encapsulate the feel of being at the home of a friend. A very good friend who produces afternoon tea on request, fine aperitifs before dinner.
