The Walled Garden is a large, newly renovated family and dog friendly bungalow. It has a large, secure walled and fenced garden and covered patio centrally located in the historic village of Long Melford. The property is a 5 minutes walk from shops, pubs, art galleries, antique shops etc. Ideally located for exploring the many local walks and cycle routes or day trips to the Suffolk coast or surrounding medieval villages
Hi! I've lived in Long Melford all my life, so have good knowledge of the village and surrounding area. An ecologist by trade, the Walled Garden is set in a large garden with an emphasis on wildlife I live next door to the listing but am not always in, but always contactable
Long Melford is a large, medieval village situated on the Suffolk Essex border. It has two large stately homes that host a variety of events throughout the year. The Holy Trinity church with it's stained glass windows is widely acclaimed as being one of the finest (and largest) parish churches in England. The long high- street has an eclectic mix of independent shops, art galleries and antique shops There are frequent buses to Sudbury, the local town and hourly buses to Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds. Long Melford has a network of footpaths and many minor roads suitable for cycling.
