Sowerbys Holiday Cottages started up in 2002 and has grown gradually with a portfolio of 300 hand-picked cottages we would all like to stay in. Appreciating the need to be nearby in the event of any issues that need resolving, we have deliberately limited the range of our cottages to a relatively small localised area of outstanding natural beauty, within 20 minutes drive of Burnham Market. We pride ourselves on offering a personal, professional service to both our owners and our guests. Our owners can relax in the knowledge that we are looking after all aspects of their holiday homes; and our guests can relax knowing that we all live locally and have a genuine desire to help in the event of an emergency, or simply to offer local advice on what to do, where to eat etc.

Please note; Burnham loft is not suitable for very young children, only children over the age of 5 years old are permitted.

Possibly one of the prettiest villages in North Norfolk, this Georgian village is within easy access to the North Norfolk Coast, still with a quaint feel, with many trendy shops. The village retains a ‘step back in time’ feel with leafy green trees and picturesque village green. Burnham Market has a traditional post office, book shop and hardware shop as well as beautiful boutiques and lifestyle shops, from the butchers and baker to fine dining and deli’s. There’s a superb fishmonger Gurneys with locally caught seafood including Brancaster mussels and Cromer crab - be sure to try the amazing fresh fishcakes. It’s a lovely village to visit to peruse the shops or even for a bite to eat in one of the restaurants. There are a lot of eateries to choose from:- The Hoste for fine dining or afternoon tea, No Twenty9, The Nelson, award-winning Socius, Burnham Tearoom, or Tilly’s Cafe, there’s something to suit every taste. There is also a children’s play park, hard tennis courts and two parish churches one at each end of the village. If in need of a little pampering why not book a treatment or two at The Hoste Beauty Spa. There is also a dog groomer so you can have the best pampered pooch in the village.
