Situated on the lake's edge with a window looking out the lake and wildlife. It is great for a family or friendship group of four. Buzzard Lodge is cosy with two bedrooms and has a hot tub, and boat so you can enjoy the wildlife and tranquil surroundings. Buzzard Lodge at The Tranquil Otter is one of our handful of holiday lodges by the lake on our private, but nationally recognised, a nature reserve known as Thurstonfield Lough. We’re located on the B5307 between the ancient city of Carlisle and the village of Kirkbride along the Solway Coast, the border between England and Scotland. Our postcode is CA5 6HB. It has been a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty since 1964.
