Walks right from the door, private and not overlooked. Pub (Cross Foxes Bar and Grill) within walking distance, along a footpath and then partly road verge if taking the shorter route. It would be sensible to bring waterproof shoes / wellingtons in case it turns wet. Not suitable for people with disabilities or mobility problems. Sorry no dogs. You could also walk over the Barmouth Viaduct bridge for unrivalled views of the estuary. And not forgetting the Mach Loop Low Aircraft viewpoints at Cad West and Cad East - the flight path is in the same valley as Caban / Cottage.
