Cairndoon Byre is a newly converted steading which was part of a dairy farm which used it as a milking facility. It took four & a half years for us (Dot & Adrian Davey) to complete the buildas most of the work we did ourselves. The standard of finish throughout is as we would expect from any B&B we were planning to stay in when we travel. There is a 180% open view from the patio including Luce Bay & the Galloway hills & on most days the Mull of Galloway. Sunsets are truly stunning.
