Cartws Pentrecelyn is located, a small holding on the outskirts of Carmarthen, just a few minutes drive from the ancient town of Carmarthen “the oldest town in Wales”. It is just under 2 miles away to the centre of town, and has many local independent shops, bars, restaurants and an indoor market. The town has a Roman Amphitheatre, castle, and a museum in the old Bishop's Palace and lovely river walks. Carmarthenshire is home to the wonderful Botanic Gardens, as well as lovely market towns such as Llandeilo, home to Dinefwr Park and Castle, all on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. Further afield you can find many award winning beaches and attractions, such as Pembrey Country Park, Pendine Sands and the famous Pembrokeshire National Park with its glorious seaside towns such as Tenby. Pembrokeshire stands out as a haven for thrilling water sports, stunning coastal walks, and some of the freshest seafood, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes. Inland, the area is brimming with family-friendly activities, including adventure parks, magnificent castles, and enchanting boat trips, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday. The less busy coastline of Ceredigion is accessed through the other side of the county with its stunning beaches and quaint towns.
