The apartment is situated on the first floor and accessed via a door off the High Street. Recently fully refurbished and furnished in a modern contemporary style. 2 large double bedrooms, one with a king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets including phone charging via bedside lamps. The other bedroom with two single beds that can be pushed together to make another double if required. This room also has a clothes storage and bedside cabinets including phone charging via bedside lamps. There is also a sofa bed in the main living room to accommodate the occasional 5th person. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking facilities, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, toaster, kettle etc everything you would have at home for your stay. There is free view with catch up and Netflix premium enabled wall mounted TV for entertainment and streaming the latest films and music. Winchester is England's ancient capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great. Today Winchester combines the best of city life with the beautifulness of the surrounding countryside. There are frequent festivals including the Hat Fair and the Winchester Christmas market, which is held in the grounds of one of Europe's finest cathedrals. The apartment is located in the famous, historical and busy High Street. Its an 8-minute walk to Winchester train station. 3 minutes down the road is the bus station and there are regular coaches to and from Heathrow Airport and London Victoria with National Express. There is a whole range of activities that are easily accessible from the apartment. Sightseeing, shopping, eating out and much more. Renowned restaurants including The Ivy, The Wykeham arms, Brassiere Blanc are just some examples of eateries on offer. The High Street itself has food shops such as Tescos, Sainsburys and Marks and Spencer. Retail outlets such as boots, Clarks, Body Shop as well as designer boutiques along with even more restaurants, cafes, teashops and pubs you can dine in just a few minutes.
