The 17th century Cotswold stone cottage, rich with character, and is a perfect retreat for a small family or group of friends who are looking to escape to an idyllic village in a glorious countryside. A stone throw away from the iconic River Windursh which runs through the centre of the town and a few mins walk to local independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
Holistic lifestyle, yummy food and travelling
The Cotswolds is the UK’s largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), with many walking trails and cycle routes to explore including routes from Bourton out to the nearby villages of Naunton, The Slaughters and Cold Aston, all home to well-regarded country pubs. Bourton’s central location makes it a superb base for visiting the many bustling market towns in the area, such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Chipping Campden, and further afield destinations including Cirencester, Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Stratford-upon-Avon, home of William Shakespeare, are also easily accessible for day trips. There is a free 30-minute parking zone directly opposite the cottage which is ideal for loading and unloading luggage, and two Pay & Display car parks are located a short walk away.
