I help the owners of Chatterpie guesthouse to manage bookings and once a booking is confirmed you will be provided with check in details and directions before your arrival with a keysafe code. The owners will always try to greet guests if they are around and having lived in the area for over 25 years know all the best local pubs, restaurants, walks and days out you can take which we will be happy to share. The Cottage sits on the edge of the owners garden. They live just across the garden in the main house which your veranda looks onto. The driveway is shared with us but you have your own private entrance and we respect our guests privacy during their stay so will not disturb you but we will be on hand and happy to help if you have any questions. We are also very happy to stock the fridge in advance for you if required, please just ask. The train station is a short walk but if your bags are heavy I can always help you on your way. Please do let us know if you have any special requests we can help with.

Our comfortable and spacious guest house sits in a tranquil setting, hidden away down a quite private road in the centre of the Cotswold town of Charbury. A few minutes walk away from a great selection of local pubs with good food and drinks on offer. A great base for exploring the pretty nearby villages. We are also very close to Soho Farmhouse, Daylesford and lots of Cotswold attractions. The wooden guesthouse sits in a peaceful location at the edge of our garden with its own private entrance and parking space on a shared driveway. The interior is beautifully designed and totally modernized with open plan living space and kitchen with all mod cons. A large cosy corner sofa with Sky TV (inc sport & movies) and patio doors that open out onto the veranda outside makes this the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring. Separate comfortable bedroom and ensuite bathroom which has a bath with a wall shower above. Outside the cabin has a decked balcony with table and chairs that overlook our country garden for you to enjoy during the warmer months. 5 minutes walk to the local train station where you can get a mainline train to London Paddington.

Charlbury is a picture postcard, quaint and unspoilt Cotswold town. Off the beaten track, yet easy to reach; sought after, but down to earth too. We are lucky to have a wonderful array of pubs and restuarants on our doorstep including The Bell and The Bull. There is also a fantastic deli and local co op which is open until 10pm. Sequestered down winding B roads, Charlbury sits nestled on the Oxfordshire side edge of the Cotswolds and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town centre has characteristic local stone houses joined by an attractive tangle of more modern developments, attractively perched on the side of the Evenlode valley. There's always something going in Charlbury, as the crowded noticeboards demonstrate. Talks in the Corner House, live music at the Shed and the Rose & Crown, guided walks, bustling churches, summer festivals, cricket and Morris teams - and that’s just to scratch the surface. The charming Brunel station has direct trains to Oxford and London. Come for the weekend (or longer), and prepare to be enchanted by our friendly little town.
