Property information

Our bed and breakfast offers complete privacy and seclusion just 2.5 miles outside Oxford City Centre. We have 6 guest bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms: There are two guest bedrooms in the main house - Magnolia is our largest room with its 17th century four poster bed and dual aspect windows overlooking the traditional stable yard the garden by the magnolia trees. Chestnut offers a 6' king size or twin bed configuration. The cottage part of the property offers three double rooms. Birch is on the ground floor with french windows onto a small garden area and offers 6' king size or twin bed configuration. The courtyard offers a self contained room (Maple) with private entrance and garden area. Breakfast is served in our Clubhouse which is a short stroll across the garden. We offer a choice of cooked breakfast or continental including warm pastries, croissants, cheeses, ham, toast, preserves, yoghurt, cereals and fruit. Surrounded by open countryside and yet approximately 2.5 miles from Oxford City Centre. We are also close to the John Radcliffe Hospital 1.8 miles. It is recommended that guests have a car although it is possible to walk to public transport or Old Marston Village in approximately 10 minutes (please note this necessitates crossing the ring road at a designated crossing). You can also walk along the river into central oxford which is a pleasant walk of around 45 minutes. Cyclists can use the adjacent cycle track. There is a pretty walk to the rear of the property over open farmland adjoining the Oxfordshire Way. Bicester Village which is a twenty minute drive by car is a must for shopping enthusiasts!

Neighbourhood information

We are set in spacious surroundings yet just 2.5 miles from the city centre. Our bed and breakfast provides an excellent location for exploring Oxfordshire and surrounding attractions including Ashmolean Museum, Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford Playhouse, Oxford University Colleges, Bicester Village Shopping outlet. We are also conveniently located for John Radcliffe Hospital and the new Oxford Parkway station with regular services to London (50 minutes)
