    “The "barn" is comfortable, well equipped, in a lovely area but on B roads -- so drive carefully. Artfully decorated. Ourside areas well thought out with some areas covered, some not. Lovely.”

Rachael adores interiors, she also loves unique, quirky, inspirational places and she noticed there was a real lack of beautiful, romantic places to stay that really did offer everything a couple wanting to escape from it all might want so she decided to create it herself. Super comfy, beds on mezzanine floors clad in crisp white cotton sheets, large roll top baths, real fires, private indoor and outdoor dining areas, super fast wifi, surround sound entertainment systems, Nespresso coffee machines, candle lit champagne arrivals, personalised VIP treats such as on site spa treatments and so much more!

The Old Parlour is a 5* Award Winning Unique, Boutique, Romantic, self-catering barn (over 100 wedding proposals made here!) We are not a fan of traditional hot tubs due to the hygiene, chemical and environmental issues so we have instead a huge heat retaining William Holland copper bath located in the fully insulated and heated private Potting Shed (Just thrown open the large French doors for that full alfresco experience!) There is a real fire, private gardens, mezzanine bedroom that looks down onto the interior designed sitting/dining room complete with surround sound entertainment system and a fully equipped kitchen. The secret escape you've been looking for!

The barns are located in some of Cheshires most beautiful, peaceful, rolling countryside yet just 30 minutes from the Roman walled city of Chester and also from the equally beautiful town of Shrewsbury. Close to Chester zoo, Cheshire Oaks Designer Retail Outlet, Bewilderwood, Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, 50 minutes from Manchester and Liverpool
