It has an incredibly rich past, giving its name to The Coldstream Guards, the oldest serving regiment in British military history, and sits close to Flodden Field, site of the infamous battle of 1513. Surrounded by superb countryside with wonderful views, yet with Coldstream’s shops, pubs and cafes right on the doorstep, guests to this area get to experience the best of both worlds. The shopping here is small and friendly with a good mix of independent outlets running the length of the High Street.
