Beyond your private patio and hot tub there is over an acre of shared gardens to explore. Planning to bring your furry friend? The cottage is best suited for people looking to enjoy peace and quiet in a rural setting - we kindly ask that quiet hours between 10pm and 8am be respected. Nestled high up in the hills, Laurel enjoys spectacular views across the Conwy Valley towards the mountains of Snowdonia National Park. Located on the edge of the Bodnant Estate and surrounded by working farms, the cottage is an excellent base to explore North Wales. A few miles down the quiet country lanes is the charming village of Eglwysbach where you can find the Bee Inn, a traditional country pub that serves local beers and tasty, home-cooked food. Also close by is the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, with a well-stocked farm shop selling a wide range of local produce and a café where breakfast is highly recommended. The picturesque market town of Llanwrst is just a 10 minute drive away. Famous for its three arched bridge spanning the River Conwy, Llanwrst is home to a range of independent shops selling everything from books to artisan and specialist foods. Cross the bridge in Llanwrst, and you enter the Snowdonia National Park, without a doubt the outdoor adventure capital of North Wales! Spend your days exploring the various attractions and activities which include castles, narrow-gauge railways, golf, cycling, walking, award-winning beaches, the Wales Coast Path, World Heritage Sites, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and Heritage Coast. If you choose to drive towards the coast instead, within 15 minutes you can be exploring the medieval walled town of Conwy with its imposing 13th Century castle. Alternatively head into nearby Llandudno, the largest seaside town in Wales, characterised by its long promenade lined with beautiful Victorian buildings. The nearest large supermarkets (Tesco & Asda) are in Llandudno Junction plus there is a Co-op and Spar in Llanrwst.
