Welcome to Holiday Home Yorkshire, we are a local holiday cottage agency in Reeth, Swaledale and we love the Yorkshire Dales! Our cottages are in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful scenery and picture postcard villages. We aim to offer a friendly, personal service to each of our customers through our extensive knowledge of both the cottages and the local area. Our aim is to make it easy for you to find and book your perfect cottage holiday, and make unforgettable memories in this stunning place we call home.

As a traditional Yorkshire Dales Cottage, Corner House boasts Yorkshire charm and features some original characteristics such as the exposed beam ceilings in the living room and dining room. The property is heated throughout by wi-fi controlled electric radiators, ideal heating for comfort during the cooler months of the year. It also benefits from the availability of a multi-fuel stove in the living room, for extra warmth if required. The fuel for the stove is provided free of charge. Corner House is comfortable and features modern conveniences such as unlimited fast fibre Wi-Fi and 32” smart TV with FreeSat, however these do not distract from the cosy, homely feel of the cottage. There is a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space, comfortable seating in the living room for five people and a spacious dining room. Upstairs, there are 3 spacious bedrooms, all of which have space for a travel cot; 1 king, 1 double and 1 twin. The master bedroom overlooks the grounds of St Andrews Church with Calver Hill in the distance, the twin bedroom is light and airy and has lovely views towards Fremington Edge, and the double bedroom is at the rear of the cottage overlooking the bubbling beck. There is also a shower room with shower cubicle, basin and w.c. with an adjacent cloakroom with WC and handbasin. Please note there are steps down to the back bedroom, and also to the shower room and adding cloakroom.

This holiday cottage is ideal for anyone who wishes to explore the Yorkshire Dales. There are multiple walks straight from the door, from high level hikes up Fremington Edge to lower level riverside walks along the River Swale. Corner House offers secure bike storage and is the perfect spot to start many bike rides – both road and mountain bike rides. Just down the road from the cottage is the ever popular Dales Bike Centre. If you don’t have a bike yourself, you can hire one here as they have a large range of hire bikes available, including electric bikes if you need help up the hills! Access to the Swale Trail is also close by. The Swale Trail is a purpose built, 12-mile track that runs from Grinton up the valley to Keld. It was built for aspiring young mountain bikers and for families who want to ride together. The Trail also doubles up as a nice route for those with pushchairs and perhaps for those with mobility issues as it is surfaced with stone and fairly flat. (Particularly at the Grinton end of the trail).
