Your room is a private room in our family home . We hope you find your room comfortable, we have tried to include everything we feel you may need to have an enjoyable stay with us including a convenience drawer filled with basic home remedies. If you need anything that’s not there please just let us know and we will do our best to help you. The room we have available for you is a ground floor En-suite room , all linens and towels are provided. The room dimensions are 11.5ft x 10.5ft In your room you have a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, we will even provide a bit of bread and cereal for your brekkie (inc tea, coffee, milk etc) We also have a travel cot with bedding available. There’s now a 40” TV on your bedroom wall with sky Q package including the movie channels and Netflix. Just to bear in mind that we do have a part time dog Cali (she’s shared with another family ) 3 cats, Ameliè , Crystal and lily and a house bunny, Hamish . they have no access to your room at any time even when not occupied.

Hi, i’m Tris, i live in Garlieston in our stunning family home with my gorgeous children Gracie who’s 17 and Arthur who’s 10 and my wife of 15 years Cassie , we want to open up our home to you guys to have a chance to enjoy the area we love so dearly :)

Across the road is the stunning beach , perfect for taking a stroll and enjoying the naturally beautiful area , in Garlieston there is also an abundance of woodland walks , some of which will take you past the stunning Galloway house and to the gorgeous secluded Rigg bay. After all that exploring there is a local pub (The Harbour Inn) just at the end of the road, on south crescent, they serve yummy hot meals daily. Also really local in the small neighbouring village of Sorbie just 2 miles away there is The Pheasant restaurant, lots of our recent guests highly recommend here so we thought it would be worth a mention to our future guests too :) If you fancy more of a cosy night in , there is a garage in the village that sells basic provisions, although no alcohol is sold here and they close at 8pm weeknights and lunch time at the weekends . If you’re looking for a bit more in the way of shops and eateries there is Whithorn 5 miles away, Wigtown 8 miles away and Newton Stewart 14 miles away. Garlieston now has a new tearoom called The Hive and is only a 2 minute walk away on south crescent they have a wonderful array of hot food including cooked breakfasts plus delicious goodies and ice creams. :)
