Lovely host, took time to explain how the hot tub worked and where to visit in the local area. Hut was exceptionally clean and well designed to give loads of space in such a compact building. Hot tub was lovely and relaxing, perfect for a few days...

These stunning bespokely made year round shepherd's huts are located between north Cornwall's beaches and Bodmin Moor. Relax in wood-fired hottubs and fire up the BBQ between the apple orchard and wildflower meadow and if it's chilly the electric ranges will keep your romantic nights cosy. Boasting fold-down kingsize beds, powerful showers, spacious tables and seating, they has everything you would expect from a luxury hotel and more. I even try and have the hot tubs just the right temperature on arrival. The huts are also conveniently located near the A39 for quick access to the rest of Cornwall and Devon.

Not sure where to start? Here are my Top Things to Do before you leave Cornwall... • Go to the beach of course! Try surfing at Polzeath; take the dog out along Trebarwith Strand; walk around the coast between Polzeath and Daymer Bay; grab lunch at picturesque Crackington Haven; gaze at beautiful Mother Ivy’s Bay or find your own secret spot • Cycle the Camel Trail A fantastic day out on two wheels from Bodmin and along the Camel Estuary to Padstow. Hire bikes in Wadebridge, or just up the road at Snail’s Pace Café, Wenford Bridge. Suitable for all ages. • Visit a traditional and picturesque Cornish harbour There’s Port Isaac for foodies, Port Gaverne for its natural swimming harbour, Boscastle for a family day out and of course Padstow for boat trips, crabbing, shopping and much more • Indulge your appetite with a Gourmet Cornish food experience... Take your pick from Rick Steins and Paul Ainsworth at No6 in Padstow, Mariners in Rock Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac, Pilchards at Port Gaverne and many more... For a more simple tasty fare with a great view head to Seaview Farm Shop just past Delabole ideal for a fantastic fry up, a roast at Tintagel Brewery Bar and Bistro up the road, or the Port William pub at Trebarwith Strand. Head for a moorland pub like Jamaica Inn. For a takeaway award winning Peckish fish and chips in Camelford is excellent (have the tartare sauce) • Visit one of these iconic places of interest: The Eden Project, Lanydrock House The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Minack Theatre, St Michael’s Mount, or Camel Valley Wines – in fact the list is endless... • Get on the water - Rent an SUP or Kayak in Rock and cruise the estuary, go on a deep sea or mackerelling fishing trip, or take a wildlife trip and see dolphins, whales, giant tuna... who knows what!
