Peaceful and romantic Victorian cottage in the middle of Stamford, convenient for Burghley House.
2 minutes walk to Marks & Spencer and the centre of Stamford.
This is a period cottage with original features and charm. It is also on the cosy side, given it is 160 years old. It has been fully renovated and is in immaculate condition.
It has a narrow staircase, typical of properties of this age. If you have mobility issues this may be a problem for you.
There are two bedrooms:
The master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite shower room.
The second bedroom can be configured as a single, two singles or a double bed.
Both bedrooms have wardrobes for clothes storage and hanging.
There is a second bathroom with toilet, sink, bath and shower over the bath.
There is a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable sitting room with two large sofas.

Stamford is a beautiful Georgian town, full of lovely buildings, great shops and places to eat.
There are lots of nice restaurants, a market on Fridays and plenty of lovely places to visit. There is a guidebook at the cottage, but let me know if you need any recommendations.
