Free parking outside of the property. Two WCs were very handy. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Well located between the town and the sea front.

The house is lovely and easily accommodated 3 adults and a labrador. It is spacious and all facilities are available and very clean. Very good location and close to the harbour and beach. It is about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the centre of Nairn...

Welcome to Fishers Cottage, a lovely 2 bedroom cottage in Nairn's historical Fishertown. Fishers Cottage's central location provides a great base for enjoying Nairns' offerings and for touring the Highlands. Light and airy accommodation allows room for families, Golfers and beach lovers alike. Unlike a number of Cottages within historical Fishertown today without a garden we are lucky enough to have a small area to the front with garden furniture to sit out. In times gone by, the Fisher women would use the River Nairn, 25m away, to wash their clothes, spreading them over the bushes to dry, so we are blessed to have a washing machine and an area to dry clothes today! The Cottage has retained some of the old Fishertown Cottage feel with the coombed ceilings in our bedrooms and low doorways, lovely and cozy! Leather suite, log fire and smart TV....after a day on Nairn Beach, Golfing or a day of sightseeing, all you need is a glass of wine and some delicious cheese from the local, award winning Connage Dairy and...relax. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a family sized dining table, great for sharing a meal from one of Nairns' takeaway establishments if cooking is not on your holiday agenda. Comfy beds, cotton linen and fluffy towels. Double bedroom, twin room, Bathroom with walk-in shower, plus a second toilet, living room with a 40" smart TV, small front garden, free on street parking and dogs allowed. 🐾
I'm local to Nairn, have travelled extensively and lived overseas for a number of years. Nairn always draws you back as many of our returning guests will confirm! Is it something to do with the beaches, the locals, the food, Nairn Highland Games, Golf Clubs, the walks.....I think its all of the aforementioned and more! Living in Nairn I’m always close by if needed for help, information or advice during your stay. Looking forward to welcoming you to Nairn and hosting your stay at one of our lovely properties!
Our town has so much to offer including one of the best beaches on the coast on your doorstep and we are regularly visited by pods of Dolphins and Basking Sharks off the end of the pier! Nairn Highland Games, held on the Links, attracts competitors, a visiting Fair and visitors from across the globe, with many Nairnites making their annual pilgrimage home to catch up with family and friends and watch the Games. Our Blue Ribbon beach is a favourite for locals and tourists alike. James Cafe on the Links with their selection of artisan ice cream, and Strathnairn Cafe with their menu of fresh Scottish seafood offering anything from Oysters to Langoustines, are a massive draw card along with a children play area and swimming pool all within 500m of the front door. Nairn has a choice of takeaway food outlets, great restaurants and cafes, many of them on your doorstep. Fishers Cottage - 10 minute walk to the Bus Station and a 15 minute walk to the Train station. Inverness Airport is a 15 minute drive. Nairn can also provide a number of reliable Taxi firms.
