Fully furnished lounge/dining room with smart T.V and dining table.
The property is heated by a combination of an electric radiator and an oil fired Rayburn. This will create a cosy cottage atmosphere during the colder months. The Rayburn can be turned on at other times by request.
Two tastefully decorated double bedrooms with two double beds. The main bedroom has a 32'' Smart T.V. The second bedroom is considerably smaller than the master bedroom.
Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave, electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer and all utensils needed for your self-catering break.
Bathroom with basin, W.C and a large shower enclosure with electric shower. The bathroom is situated on the ground floor.
This is a two storey old traditional cottage with a fairly STEEP WINDY STAIRCASE with a low beam. Please see photo.
Private garden with dining table. THE GARDEN IS NOT DIRECTLY ATTACHED TO THE PROPERTY, BUT IS SITUATED ACROSS A COMMUNAL COURTYARD TO THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY.

The Cottage is situated in the idyllic village of Abbotsham in North Devon.
There is a traditional thatched pub (The Thatched Inn) only a few minute walk from the cottage. The Thatch serves food throughout the day and has a large range of traditional ales and beers. They also offer a carvery on Sunday. Dogs are welcome as they are in most pubs in the area.
Abbotsham cliffs and the S.W coast path are just 1.5 miles from The Cottage. The coast path offers some of North Devon's most spectacular scenery.
Just 10 minutes drive to Westward Ho! A long sandy flat beach of some 2.5km, perfect for learning to surf, and often rewarding for a more accomplished surfer.
In the summer season the beach is lifeguard patrolled with huts at both ends of the beach with designated swimming and leisure areas also both ends.
Westward Ho! is also home to England oldest golf course, Royal North Devon Golf club. This is a Lynx Course and is literally alongside the beach.
Westward Ho! has a number of shops, supermarkets, takeaways and restaurants.
The Big Sheep children’s adventure park is only a 10 minute walk from the property. They offer farm petting and have sheep races. Ideal day out for the whole family. They have a soft play area too. They even have their own brewery on site and offer tasting sessions.
For those looking for something a bit more challenging, the Ultimate Adventure park is also only a 10 minute walk. The Ultimate adventure offers activities like climbing, abseiling and mountain boarding etc.
Atlantic Village (Affinity Devon) is just a 5 minute drive from the property. This is a retail outlet and is home to some major brands. There is a food hall and also a children's play area. There is a supermarket on the same site and Mcdonald's, Costa Coffee and Domino's pizza opposite.
The Tarka Trail is a 10 minute drive. This is a footpath/cycle path which runs along the coast of North Devon, the rivers Taw and Torridge and on to Dartmoor.
