Located in the heart of an authentic Scottish border town, next to the bus and train station, surrounded by amazing old local pubs, delicious places to eat, grocery stores, beautiful parks, and artistic shops among many other places. The flat is a very quiet location, yet it is conveniently located next to the train and bus station, as well as amazing restaurants, traditional pubs, a big Tesco, coffee shops and much more. It has both free (limited spaces) and paid parking options on the adjacent streets.

The flat is super conveniently located right in the middle of the town centre, and just next to the Railway station (commutes between Galashiels and Edinburgh ) and bus Station, (transport to almost every area within the Borders and as far as Carlisle and Berwick). There is a big Tesco just in front of the flat, as well as delicious places to eat, as well as local coffee shops and traditional pubs. The streets of Overhaugh and Bank are next to the flat, which will charm you with their beautiful coffee houses, artisan galleries, local shops and museums among others such as the Great Tapestry of Scotland. For all-day eating, the Quins for Scottish food, the Paolo's Italian or The Salmon Inn for pub food are very nice just 2 min walk from the flat, the Okome has amazing Japanese food 5 min walk from the flat, or for late Indian lunch or dinner, the Zaika Tandoori or the Shish are highly recommended just in front of the flat. The flat is also just next to the river Tweed, rightly acclaimed as the Queen of Scottish Rivers, or one of its tributaries, for trout and salmon in season. The Abbotsford, home of Sir Walter Scott is 5 min by car. Parking - Street parking outside the property is limited to 1 hr from 9 t 5 pm, and although there is free street parking all around the town, it does get busy so we would recommend leaving the car at the large Stirling Street Car Park where there are always spaces available (Times charges apply: 8:30am-5pm; 1.5 pounds for 2 hrs or five pounds for the whole day).
