A cosy studio apartment set in my back garden which you are welcome to use. The main bed is set up as a KS double but can be split into twin beds if you prefer, please message me with this request. I can also accommodate up to 2 children on folding beds (see photos tagged 'Family Room', again, please message me with any requests. The floors are tiled so great for those travelling with pets, slippers are provided to keep your toes toastey. The heating controls are in your hands (but I will monitor via my App - you are coming to Yorkshire after all!), there is also a kitchenette for making simple/cold meals with a fridge/freezer, toaster, crockery etc (no cooker), the pub can also provide take-away meals. The pub is also open for breakfast which can be arranged the night before or through me.

I love meeting new people, as do my two large friendly dogs but I can keep them out of your way, if you prefer. I am a no-nonsense, no dramas Yorkshire-woman, happy to help with any aspect of your trip so if you need any help or advice, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kilburn is a peaceful, traditional North Yorkshire village that can boast the 'Mouseman' furniture workshop, a working farm, spectacular views of the Kilburn White Horse and the Forresters Arms serving homemade food, cask ales and a warm welcome. Kilburn is on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors Park, the east Coast or Yorkshire Dales are one hour by car, Thirsk 15 minutes by car, York 40 minutes by car, 1.5 miles to the Black Swan at Oldstead, London just over 2 hours by train!
