Hi, I’m Keely – the host of Nesbitts Nest. This lakeside haven was created with love, after we spent many a year here enjoying it. A place for families, couples, and friends to truly switch off, slow down, and soak up the beauty of the Cotswolds. As a mum and local host, I believe it’s the little touches that make a stay feel special – from a travel cot ready for little ones, to dog-friendly comforts, to a carefully curated guidebook packed with personal recommendations for the best local walks, food spots, and hidden gems. Nesbitts Nest isn’t just a holiday home to us – it’s where our own family has made countless memories. You’ll often find us out on the decking enjoying a peaceful evening, or my husband water skiing on the lake! I love nothing more than helping guests create their own special moments here. I’m always nearby should you need anything, but happy to let you enjoy the peace and privacy of your stay. We can’t wait to welcome you. Surrounded by charming villages and a wealth of local amenities, it’s the perfect base for your Cotswold escape. Uniquely, Spring Lake offers exciting on-water activities including water-skiing, ringos, and an inflatable aqua park. We’ll point you in the right direction for booking these in advance to avoid missing out. Nearby lakes also offer a wide range of options to suit every interest. Just a few minutes' stroll from Nesbitts’ Nest, you'll find a popular lakeside restaurant and bar serving locally sourced dishes on a stunning terrace overlooking the water. Children are warmly welcomed to our lodge with a high chair, travel cot (we request you bring your own bedding please as this is not provided) and two stair gates available free of charge - for the top and bottom of the stairs. The lakeside deck is securely gated with a latch gate, and you will find some extra child friendly touches. Pets are always welcome We know how hard it can be to leave your four-legged friends behind when escaping to the countryside, so we're delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs to Barney’s Retreat for a small additional fee of per pet. With scenic walking trails, open countryside, and the dog-friendly Cotswold Water Park right on the doorstep.
