Relax with the whole family at this peaceful setting with wonderful views of Loch Lomond and the surrounding hills.
Enjoy water sports on Loch Lomond - you can launch your own boat or jet ski, bring kayaks or paddle boards, or take a hike up Ben Lomond or a walk along the West Highland Way! A great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life where you can unwind and relax but also close enough for day trips to Glasgow and Stirling.
Our lodge is located just steps away from the water making it great access for a quick dip in the loch! Enjoy views from the patio of the loch - you won’t be disappointed!
After living in the US for over 50 years, we have returned to Scotland to live. Working remotely and managing the family business still keeps me busy with kilt orders and lots of paperwork! Our wee haven in Loch Lomond has been in the family for over 30 years and we're very excited to be hosting future guests.
We do not live on the property but will be available via phone for any questions or concerns.
Rowardennan is a small community at the end of the mostly single-track road leading to Ben Lomond. The park is a gated community with over 30 lodges all individually owned.
Parking is available on the lodge site. There are no busses in this area but you can take a taxi to and from Balmaha or Drymen - where you can catch a bus.
Enjoy all sorts of water sports on Loch Lomond along with the West Highland Way and Ben Lomond.
Water sports on Loch Lomond are very popular. Bringing a boat or jet-ski? Please let us know so we can give you details on how to access the launching area (this must be scheduled ahead of time). Boats and/or trailers are not to be parked next to the lodges so storage must be obtained.
The chalet park is next door to the Rowardennan Hotel which is open from March to October each year (check to confirm). There is a bar, restaurant and beer garden.
Right outside our gates, is the trail for the West Highland Way and Ben Lomond. Also near the Ranger Station there is a nice history trail which is a great way to learn a bit about the area while enjoying views of Loch Lomond.
