Crailloch Croft Cottages are set amidst the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Stranraer and just a ten minute drive from the pretty harbour village of Portpatrick. Set around an enclosed landscaped courtyard guests have the option of a two-bedroom cottage which sleeps 3 people in a king-sized bed and single bed or a one-bedroom cottage which sleeps 2 in a double bed.
Each cottage has views of the courtyard, the gardens and the surrounding countryside together with separate off-road parking areas.
Located next to Stranraer's sea front is a lovely park with a small boating lake, miniature railway, pedal go-karts & a play park for children. A cafe / coffee shop serves meals & refreshments & offers indoor / outdoor seating overlooking the lake. Within the town itself is also the Ryan Centre which offers a number of activities, including a swimming pool with water flumes.
Day trips to Belfast or Larne can be taken from the nearby village of Cairnryan which is just 20 minutes drive from the town. The Titanic Centre and Giant's Causeway are fantastic days out.
In the opposite direction from the cottages is the pretty harbour village of Portpatrick which has a number of pubs, restaurants, coffee shops & gift shops. This bustling little village is full of history & guests can enjoy a relaxing drink or meal whilst taking in the sea views towards Ireland.
The Mull of Galloway - Scotland's most Southerly point - is just 22 miles away, with spectacular views to Ireland & the Isle of Man. The route to the Mull is laden with lovely little villages & beaches, with Sandhead Beach being ideal for swimming or for taking long walks along the 7 mile stretch of sand.
