There is an extensive front and rear garden, with the remains of an ancient Rath or ringfort situated behind the rear garden. This Rath is ancillary to the main Rath situated in an adjoining field.
Situated in the foothills of the Mourne mountains, it offer views of rolling hills and farmland.
The wonderful amenities of the Mourne mountains are within easy reach, and include the Silent Valley, Sliabh Donard, Tollymore Forest Park, Castlewellan Park. The seaside town of Warrenpoint is 15 minutes away, as is the city of Newry. The village of Mayobridge, with all essential amenities, is 5 minutes away.
