Cwmwl Gwyn Cottage enjoys a commanding position on the crest of a hilltop town with breathtaking views of The Vale. The cottage is situated in the heart of the historical town of Llantrisant which boasts settlements from as far back as the 6th century. It is a 2 bedroom cottage, 1 double bedroom and 1 with bunk beds. You can cwtch up with the log burner when the weather is a little cooler or sit out in garden and admire the wonderful views. We have onsite parking at both the rear and side of the cottage. Full local amenities which inc shops/cafés and pubs within a few minutes walk. Llantrisant is central to many wonderful places and experiences including the Big Pit, The Royal Mint, Vale Golf Resort, Rhondda Heritage Park, St Fagans Museum, if you fancy thrills we aren't far from the longest zip wire in Wales and BikePark Wales. Llantrisant is only a 30 minute drive to the amazing Brecon Beacons or a drive to the stunning Jurassic coastline and beaches, a 20 minute drive will take you to Cardiff where you will find plenty of entertainment and places to shop til you drop.

Llantristant itself is full of vibrancy due to the many café's and pubs within a small area, there are cute boutiques to buy your pressies which house many arts and crafts made by local artists. Talbot Green shopping park is home to restaurants and many high street brands and this is a short stroll/drive from the cottage. There are bus services that run regularly through Llantrisant or from Talbot Green, there is also a train station in Pontyclun, which is a 10 minute drive from Llantrisant.
