Hi. My name is Alex, I host Dairy cottage with my wife Dolly.
Dairy cottage is set in a quiet scenic village of Swordale, located 5 miles from the main town of Stornoway and 3.7 miles from Stornoway airport.
The property is a traditional Hebridean cottage, it has 3 large bedrooms, 2 double rooms and 1 king size bedroom. It has two shower rooms with a an additional toilet wash room.
Dairy cottage has a well kept enclosed front garden, with a large back garden. It is situated in a traditional Hebridean crofting community.
Dolly and myself look forward to invite holiday guests to our holiday home. Dairy cottage is set on our family working Croft, and we live 150 yards away so we will be at hand if our guests require any advice or assistance. I enjoy trout fishing, and there are two lochs only a 5 minute walk from the holiday home where I go fishing frequently for brown trout.
Dairy cottage is in the village of Swordale, in the parish of Point. The holiday home is only a 10 minute walk from the local shop Buth an Rubha and cafe Roo. We have 3 beach all within a 10 minute drive, Knock beach 10 minute walk, Braighe beach 5 minute drive and Bayble beach 8 minute drive. There is loch, river and sea fishing close by, and boat trips with (sea trek Uig), to see the abundance of wildlife along our coastline. You can see whales, dolphins, otters, buzards, hen harriers and sea eagles and so much more on our coastline.
